Screening Process
Each child is screened within 45 days of entry into the program. –We use the ASQ 3 and ASQ 2 for social emotional screening. It’s a collection of highly accurate assessments and data gathering tools. The screening can provide an important understanding of the child’s development at a particular point in time. It serves as a first step in assessing a child school readiness, providing a snapshot of a child mastery early development and academic skills.
The screening also enables teachers to readily identify children who are developmentally delayed or advanced. Therefore, it helps to support with any intervention that might be needed. It also enables the Teachers to plan individually.
